STEM Schools Student Courses

t’s great that you’re looking into the EGYSTEM Course (Level 1). This program is specifically designed for STEM school students and offers an internationally accredited certification through STEM.org.
Below is a general overview of the course details and curriculum :
Course Overview
The program is an intensive technical bootcamp designed to bridge the gap between theoretical electronics and practical application. It combines virtual learning with hands-on physical workshops .
Duration: 3 Weeks.
Structure: 8 Live Online Lectures + 3 In-person Workshops (held in Cairo).
Certification Requirements: * Minimum 70% live attendance is mandatory.
Completion of specific assignments (tasks) for each lecture.
Access to recorded sessions is provided for review purposes only.
Technical Curriculum
The course follows a progressive learning path, starting from basic electronics and moving toward robotics with C programming language and mobile app integration.
1. Fundamentals & Controllers
Introduction to Electronics & Microcontrollers: Understanding how electronic components work and the "brain" behind hardware projects.
Introduction to Arduino: Learning how to program the Arduino board, which is the industry standard for rapid prototyping.
2. Software Integration
Mobile App Development (Control Units): Creating custom smartphone applications to act as remote controllers for hardware projects.
3. Practical Projects
Students will apply their knowledge by building the following systems:
Traffic Light Project: Basics of timing, sequences, and LED control.
Distance Meter: Using ultrasonic sensors to measure and display distances.
RGB LED Control: Managing color mixing and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation).
4. Advanced Robotics
The course concludes with the assembly and programming of mobile robots:
RC Car Robot: Controlling a vehicle wirelessly via the mobile apps developed earlier.
Obstacle Avoiding Robot: Integrating sensors and logic to allow the robot to navigate autonomously without hitting walls.
Key Benefits
International Accreditation: Certified by STEM.org with internationally recognized instructors.
Discounted Enrollment: A 50% discount is available for the first 50 subscribers.
Integrated Learning: Theoretical steps are explained online, while the actual "hands-on" implementation happens during the workshops.
This course seems like a solid foundation if you are looking to master the basics of embedded systems and robotics. Does this overview cover everything you were looking for, or would you like more detail on a specific project?
